| so i came home last night, went to sleep at 5 AM and woke up at 8 PM

| mmm, so i finished The Kite Runner a few hours after i finished that entry.
but that's okay! because we went to a book store today and i bought a lime green copy of Dracula imported from the UK heehee it says that it costs £2.
i'll save that for the plane ride, right now i'm going to get crackin' on Chris's The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
and i'm really excited to purchase Water for Elephants (upon further inspection of CrisGL/Maggie's suggestion) and The Historian which looks amazing back in Jersey without import expense and with the incredibly large amount of money on these Barnes and Nobles cards that Joel's and Steve's family gave me. i don't remember if i formally thanked you guys but FREAKING THANK YOU, i'm really excited.
alright enough of that.
went to Kaoshiung (sp?) yesterday to this gigantic mall (yes, i know, Paramus? Taiwan?)
there was a rather large ferris wheel on the roof of the 9 story mall and we went on it. it was cool.
i haven't been able to find voodoodolls ANYWHERE for you guys :( i'll have to ask my too awesome for me 12 year old cousin when she comes down tmrw.
but i did buy something that made me laugh for Grace, sorry you greedy whore, it's not candy or a vddoll or a shirt.<3
okay i REALLY need to go shopping. maybe i'll head out now.
& JAPAN/TAIPEI KIDS!! let me know where you're at, where you'll be at, and when that'll happen.

oh wait actually i should probably mention, before actually leaving i accidentally and obliviously walked nd stayed in the men's bathroom t JFK. thought it was interesting that it happened in my own country, rather than in Taiwan. it's a wonder i didn't notice the row of urinals.
18 hour flight and i honestly slept through at least 17 of those hours =)
sat in business class :) perks of standby tickets/mom working for airlines i guess.
saw a freaking AMAZING sunrise from the sky over Alaska, took some nice shots from the ground too.
even though i didn't really do anything yet, it's great to be in Taiwan.
ate breakfast today for $1.40 - a zhong zi, bowl of miso soup and glass of juice. nice<3
i can't put the Kite Runner down. darn, i guess i need another book for the trip back.
being in another country makes you overanalyze Facebook :(

Dad: yeahh, Mom asked me to look for some to hit the rabbits in our backyard.
Me: What?? No!
Mom: (shouts in from the backyard, through the window) Yeah! i hit twoof them this morning with rocks!!

this Lin Family scene ends with my dad reading the sling-shot reviews and following up Chris's advice of looking for BB guns. me uncomfortably laughing at my mom and Chris shaking his head.

watched PIRATES 3 today... in the new theater, with free popcorn, seeing Jovie & Weis in the way attractive unifroms ;P
and i don't care what anyone says. it was a definitely enjoyable, i had a great time and Selvin, Brian, and Vishal will lay a beat down on anyone who wants to taunt us otherwise.
even with understandable arguments of lacking script and plot holes, NO ONE can deny the brilliance that is Johnny Depp.
